Remember that band - THE HORRORS -that were my new favourite bestest thing ever a few months ago?. Well, their first video (for Sheena Is A Parasite) is available HERE. Directed by Chris Cunningham (yes, really) and featuring Samantha Morton who is an Oscar Nominee, apparently.

it has been banned! which is a bit lame. but i have not seen it yet, so thanks for pointing it out. i shall have a look.
the shooting of the video clashed with one of josh's physics exams. but i assume that they sorted all that out.

He and I bumped into Chris Cunningham on the street in Camden (he lives sort of just at the end of my road, oddly) and he was telling us (well, telling Josh, but I was listening) that he had toned down the video loads as there was no point in making a video that hardly anyone will see. Apparently Chris' standards of acceptability are far lower than those of the BBFC or whoever it is. Bugger.

But...

The Sheena... video isn't any more shocking than some of his Aphex Twins ones is it? I didn't think so. But then I like squiddy screanmy things, so maybe I'm not the best one to judge.
