I think it depends on how the FTM considers himself. Obviously an FTM would consider himself a man post surgery or not. Then if such man preffered men or both men and women he might consider himself a gay or bisexual man. Socities are societies and rules are always going to exist, but if this analysis happens to hold true would FTM not be following said rules? But I say good job trying to take command of the organization and good luck Marc :) See you in 160C tomorrow or today actually cause it's so late now.
