Yeah, I got a huge laugh out of that one, though I have to admit "Tree of Life" looks like it *could* be kind of interesting all the same . . . or else a load of pretentious codswallop. Oscar-fodder tends to fall into those two categories.

You're exactly right. I still don't understand what all the fuss was about with "No Country for Old Men." Apparently I was missing something.

I've largely managed to avoid him, and not even the lure of Dame Helen is likely to tempt me to watch that particular film, so with luck I'll remain untainted a bit longer.
