Man, am I EVER getting spam today -- way more than usual. Although I did find a piece of entertaining "WTF??" in the pile. It's supposedly from someone named "Trudie Honeychurch rosa" [sic], and the subject line reads:

"Fw: Fw levels red threats round 2 library wife: STILL ALIVE KIDNAPPED- HONEYCHURCH ROSA, TRUDI- I'M BEING FORCED FED TO HEAR ( Read more... )

random, spam, weird, wtf?, humor

Ages ago, there was someone who put out several posts of nothing but icons of old "Choose Your Own Adventure" book covers, suitably retitled. I laughed my ass off over all of them, and finally managed to narrow it down to a few "keepers." But they were all good. :)

And this is why I don't have a Yahoo! home page.

In related news, I got cell phone spam the other day: it seems that my MasterCard account has been locked. Unless it was River Song calling from the future, I don't have a MC account.

I don't really have a Yahoo homepage, either. Just use the email.

Heh -- similar to your MasterCard, I once got an email warning me about changes to my bank account . . . but at a bank I'd never *had* an account at. Phishing: not always very subtle.
