As I noted above, I can't watch this particular vid without being torn between "hot!" and "spitting image of my brother!" which is really giving me a bad case of the cognitive dissonances, lemme tell you. But when his hair's dark, he's fair game so far as my subconscious goes . . . ;) XD

As to Catcher in the Rye, I recognize that an alarming number of smart people--particularly, in my experience, smart boys--adore that book. It definitely seems to be an emotionally meaningful rite of passage for some, and I do try to respect that. But it's still a struggle not to roll my eyes when at least three students each semester rave about it as the BEST BOOK EVAR. Oy.

LOL! Yeah, I know how that goes. I'm terrible in bars when my fellow ladies are elbowing me and asking me if I think a particular guy is hot. I usually shrug and say, "I don't know, I haven't talked to him yet." But it's true!
That said? Not to give you the sororal squicks, but if the resemblance is that close I'd TOTALLY be asking after your brother if I were single. Hee.
:D No offense squicks, no worries. However, he's been happily married for nearly 6 years now (and taken for about 5 before that -- they sorta realized, in a slow way, that they might as well get 'round to making it legal after that long . . .). But I'm very proud of my bro and his lady-killer skillz. :D
Yeah, I liked CithR myself when I read it as a teen, and there must be SOMEthing special about it that it keeps hitting new generations in the same way, but it does get cited an awful lot.
