Oh, sweet! We have a Totoro watching over us in our bedroom, and we love it to pieces. I enjoyed the first Toy Store; didn't see the next one.

You *really* need to see the second Toy Story. It's very good and surprisingly philosophical/adult (hell, there's a plot thread about the relative value of sterile immortality vs. living-and-feeling mortality, *and* there's a moment with Buzz losing his identity that's worthy of freakin' Kafaka).

Heh. On a more personal note, there's a toy collector character in there that I *swear* was modeled directly on a real-life convention-circuit person I know, "Ferengi" Bob. I nearly freaked when I saw an animated version of him onscreen and bigger than life. o_O

Anyway, if I could write stories half as good as Pixar (in what are nominally cartoons for kids, even!) I'd be a happy camper.

Also, one of these days I *must* get a copy of Totoro and Princess Mononoke for the DVD collection. Hm. *eyes tax return $$*
