Cryptozoology in your (my, anyway) backyard.

It may not have as much cachet as, say, Bigfoot, but this search is far more likely to yield a real critter in the end.  Interesting to see it making national headlines now on Yahoo:

"Searchers shovel Northwest dirt seeking giant worm."

I've certainly never seen one of the critters, but then, I've never dug a 15-foot-deep hole, either . . .
