Damn, this is the second week in a row that work came between me and my Heroes - and the second week I forgot to ask my boys to tape. I keep forgetting it's not on a cable channel that repeats each episode endlessly. Stupid NBC ....

And, yes, we can haz Claude plz naow?

Maybe you should check and see if NBC is doing the episode replay-on-demand thing off their website. They did the last two years, anyway (I haven't been there to check this year yet, since we have DVR now).

Claude, FTW.

Love your icon!

If there was ever a show to do canon mpreg, it's this one. (Yeah, BSG already did it, apparently, but still, "Heroes" is pulling out all the fanfic stops in a BIG way . . .)

Claude should show up and kick Peter's ass for being such a dumbo. Better yet, the Doctor should show up and kick his ass over timeline screwups in tandem with Claude. It wouldn't be any weirder than what's already going on.

I was bummed Afraica!Issac didn't hit Matt over the head with his stick like Rafiki did to Simba.

XD I love the way everyone keeps saying Matt's current story reminds them of "The Lion King." OTOH, given Matt's requent inability to act effectively, a tortoise totem isn't out of line . . . ;)

See, I knew you'd have lots of call to use that icon! :)

Definitely a steaming helping of WTF?! this week... You know, this season is doing odd things to my brain, because I keep going back and forth between finding stuff on this show stupidly cheesy and contrive and thinking it's totally awesome, until eventually I'm having both thoughts about the exact same things, at which point I just have to give up and roll with it.

And given that Sylar's living in his house and naming kids in his memory and stuff, it's looking to me like Noah is almost certainly dead in this particular future. And I have to say, Yet Another Approaching Armageddon wasn't really enough to get me thinking, "Oh, no, we must stop this from happening!", but that is. :)

(Either that, or it was actually Sylar/Bennet mpreg, and I hate my brain for going there, even in jest. *grabs for the bleach*)

...of course, you probably meant more of Noah Gray-Cabey. D'oh! Definite agreement from me on that point, anyway.

No, I meant Noah Bennett -- but more of Micah would be good, too; the kid's got a pleasant screen presence.

Thankee kindly, both for the replay-on-demand information, and your kind words about the icon. I put it together the other night, and it's precisely my third icon ever. (Loves me my Tosh'nOwen)

I was kinda hoping Tosh would find a nice girl to settle down with (seeing as how one of the big themes of "Greeks Bearing Gifts" was her bi awakening, and it would have been nice to see her follow through with that) . . . but she and S2 Owen were so cute together, it still worked out well. :D

One of the things I enjoy about Torchwood, despite its many faults, is that I could believe, had she lived and only Owen died, that Tosh would have considered looking at both genders for someone to love and care for. Naoko Mori built a believable bi character. In fact, once the writing steadied, I could believe all of Torchwood's latest team (with the possible exception of Owen) wouldn't care which gender attracted them or loved them.

Mmmmmmm, I'd say Gwen (when not under the influence of of sex-starved aliens) is also fairly hetero-aligned -- probably even more so than Owen, who might prefer women but who was shown to be somewhat opportunistic. Still, though, none of the team was/is about to be judgmental about anyone else's preferences, that's clear. Which is nice. :)

. . . RTD no longer holds the record for making weird fanfic canon. Not even 10.5 can surpass domestic!Sylar in an apron.

You speak the truth. And he wasn't even cooking brains! (Canon override or not, I plan to continue making Sylar brain-eating jokes as long as they amuse me.) When Sylar gave Peter the hug, I couldn't help thinking that in the long history of awkward man-hugs, that was among the most awkward, at least from Peter's perspective.

The conversation between the two Peters was approaching a critical mass of stupidity, but I'm interested to see what happens with Sylar'd up Peter. I concur that shirtless Peter improves every episode.

I was overjoyed to see Hiro and Ando make up, but following advice from Ma Petrelli is not likely to lead to good things for them.

I'm enjoying this season with all its crack, but Claude would improve things immeasurably! Peter desperately needs him to knock some sense into him, and I think Claire would benefit as well. Alas, it might be too late for Mohinder.

countessaleska and I are still making brain-eating jokes, so join the club. The other day in the store we saw some gummy brain candy for Halloween, and she started calling them "Sylar treats." XD

True! Milo did a great job with his facial expressions in that scene. He completely cracked me up, it was such a great response.
