Summary: A look at the days in Jaeho's lives
Notes: Can't believe it's been over a year since the last chapter. I kind of lost interest in this part of the story because nothing was coming to me and I was stumped in what to write but for the past month, everything came flowing out and I made more progress now than I did in a year.
But as soon as I saw you
As if I’m possessed
I’m asking you out to date me without a reason, like this

Today Was The Day… - Chapter 3: Wednesday
After bumping into each other a few times through mutual acquaintances, they were friends for a year before they went on their first date though Yunho would not call it that; Jaejoong did not specifically ask him out and it was not a proper date.
As the MV shooting finished, with Jaejoong acting the lead character and Yunho choreographing the female singer’s dance scenes, the crew decided to have a karaoke dinner after tidying the set and equipment away.
Jaejoong found Yunho stretching his muscles. “I thought she was going to kill you.”
Yunho looked up and smiled when he saw who it was. “She wanted the best and it’s what she got.”
“I thought her back would break if she bent it backwards anymore,” Jaejoong commented as they walked to the changing room.
Yunho shrugged as he started to get changed and missed Jaejoong’s blush as the clothes were stripped from his toned body. His voice became muffled as he pulled a hoodie over his head. “She came from a dance background and should’ve known what to expect when she asked for me.”
“Maybe you should buy her a drink later just in case,” Jaejoong suggested as he leaned against the desk and tried not to be obvious in checking Yunho out. “Are you joining us for dinner?”
“Not sure,” Yunho replied as he glanced at the time. “I have a prior engagement and don’t know if I’ll make it.”
“Oh,” Jaejoong started and hid his disappointment quickly as he said, “Well, I have to go back to the company to sort some paperwork out if you want to meet me there and we can go together.”
“Yeah, sure, but if you finish first then don’t wait for me; I don’t want your cold to worsen. Go straight to the karaoke and I’ll be there if I can make it.”
Yunho opened the door to a large and noisy darkened room, laughter spilling out and the smell of soju hanging in the air as he walked in to be greeted by the occupants within. He looked around the room and frowned slightly as he discovered that Jaejoong was the only one missing.
A slightly drunk Dong Woon threw his arm around Yunho’s shoulders and gave him a squeeze.
“Glad you could join us!” he shouted a little bit louder than necessary as he pressed a warm glass into Yunho’s cold hand. “But where’s Jaejoong? Weren’t you two supposed to be coming together?”
“Eh?”
“He told us he was waiting for you.” Dong Woon swallowed as he held onto the wall for support. “It must be below nought outside but he said he’ll wait for you. I’m glad one of you got your act together; Jeong Sook and I were getting sick of watching you two around dance each other seeing who would ask who out for a date first.”
Yunho felt cold inside as he continued staring at Dong Woon before he tossed the contents of the glass into his mouth and hastily pressed it back into Dong Woon’s hand.
“Hyung, I’ll speak to you later,” Yunho shouted over his shoulder as he ran down the corridor.
Yunho found Jaejoong crouched down on the ground leaning against a lamppost, giving the impression of a soft halo around his head as snowflakes drifted gently over his cold shivering body. Something gripped Yunho’s heart and gave it as a squeeze as he noted Jaejoong’s heavy lidded eyes and he removed his jacket.
“Well, hello there, little kitten.”
Jaejoong heard the guilt in Yunho’s voice as the taller man covered him with the jacket and though his eyes opened, Jaejoong refused to look at Yunho.
“My cold has gotten worse cos of you,” he grumbled sullenly as his lips formed into a pout but the effect was spoilt by a sudden bout of violent sneezing.
“Mianhae, little kitten,” Yunho said softly as his breath was stolen by the frigid wind and he lifted Jaejoong into his arms. “I’ll take you home.”
Today was the day it was the first, and the last time, you stood me up...
