Could you qualify for Commonwealth Care? (You're a one person household making under $25,000 so I don't see how you couldn't.) It'd be one less thing to worry about and you wouldn't have to fear getting sick.

It's not bad -- it's better than being indentured to a job I hate for the insurance, anyway. I'm on their "commonwealth choice" program, which means I get a break on private insurance. It's still expensive and irritating but I wanted to keep the same set of doctors I've had for a decade now and I can't do that on the far cheaper "care".

What happened to grad school in the UK? Wasn't that one of your spoken desires last season?

Too competitive and they offer no financial aid to foreigners. Heh.

I don't want to be a lawyer and wouldn't make a very good one.
