Just poking my head up to say hi

May 13, 2011 21:23

Have you been happily unaware of my absence until this post appeared to blight your fine day? You must have been loving a good chunk of this year because I've just been not finding time to post.

How bad is it?

I've been meaning to mention that I sold one of my photographs for use in the Park Secrets Victoria pack of cards since last year. ( Read more... )

things that delight me, slice of life, unimportant but annoying

Congratulations on selling the photo by the way.

Is one of the things people aren't talking about in Doctor Who (SPOILER) that the colours were changing from blue to red and back?

Nope. Nothing to do with the obvious storyline.

And you're going to be silently smug about it, are you? : )

I did like how things like the Doctor's bow tie kept changing last week. It was one of the few bits of that episode that kept me awake.

I've been doing some internal speculating on the new Who stuff. But most of it is nebulous.
One thing that I think, is that in spite of the 'your past is my future' bit River and the Doctor do occasionally meet out of that sequence. Otherwise they'd never have any diary things in common. I can think of two incidences, one that happened in episode 1, and one that was mentioned in the Library that I don't think the Doctor has done yet, though he could have post Mars I guess. But I don't think he did.

I'm hoping we do see Canton again. I'm liking Mark Sheppard more and more as an actor as I see him in more things.

So yay for photo! Yay for chips! Boo for unexpected bills and yay for not feeling so sick post Perth. I managed to escape the con pretty much unscathed con lurgi wise also.

Wing had pretty good photo of you from the con at flickr so that even more people might appreciate your pretty face. :)

If you like Mark Sheppard, get the DVDs of Leverage in which he plays Stirling, the arch nemesis of the band of ethical thieves.

DVDs of Season One and two are available here.

Season 4 starts on my birthday. Even if it's only in the States, I consider that a nice birthday present.
