This episode of Honma Dekka was quite unsettling as it was an episode about the hidden scary side of women! In the first half they were analyzing various topics such as differences between males and females when it comes to the break-up decisions, cheating and such. I had quite mixed feelings after seeing this episode :D And apparently the guests from Assassination classroom felt the same as we could hear "I'm getting worried" multiple times throughout the episode. Second half was dedicated to the guests who primarily came here to consult their problem - something that they don't understand about females.
Yama-chan comes with a letter.
This is something I don't understand about females. Yamada Ryosuke.
When I was in 1st grade of high school, my female classmates had a fight.
I got between them to stop them, but for some reason I was the one they directed their anger to. Not to even say that when they left their seats, and returned after 10 minutes, they were good friends again and for some reason the only grudge left was grudge against me.
I don't get the reason. Please tell me!
When I encounter a fight between my female peers, how should I deal with it?
Yama-chan further explains that there were two girls having a fight in the classroom and it was all really loud and messy so he tried to stop them but then they went after him shouting "What the heck, you shorty!!"
Here the sensei explains that it's different when girls fight and when men fight. Males usually go for what is right and correct, in case of females it's more of a clash of emotions, where correctnes is not important at all. That's why males suck at intervening girl fights. And that's why it's not appropriate for males to try to stop the argument.
MC: Just what the heck did you do?
Sensei then elaborates that it's better to properly listen to what both sides have to say, rather than determining who is right and who is wrong without even listening.
Yamada: But at that time I just went "Okay, okay, calm down"
Yamada: And they just went back "What the heck, shut up!"
Yamada: What should I do in that case?
Sensei: Right at that moment, the girls were communicating in their own way.
Sensei: And you went in as a nuisance.
Yamada: I was a nuisance?
Sensei: Yes, what you did was an unncessesary action.
What sensei just said was something that he really didn't expect and it takes him a while to recover from such shock. Also the things he heard earlier in the show didn't really help this. We could see his face full of worry.
Yamada: Once I came here I'm nothing but worried *stutters*
Yamada: What should I do? As a male?
MC: Don't get married.
Another sensei explains further that reason and correct arguments are not so relevant in the case of females. So when there is someone intervening, the females would only think in the sense of "is he my opponent or my ally?" with no inbetween.
Sensei: So when a girl is angry, the only thing she wants to hear is "I'm your ally"
Yamada: So when I enter the fight I should say "I understand both of you, but..." ?
Sensei: Just say "I understand." No "but", nothing more is needed.
Sensei: Maybe when you entered the fight one of the girls wanted you to be her ally.
Sensei: But instead of that, you said something that made her feel betrayed.
Sensei: So when you intervened, the girl probably felt like that there's no chance that you would have an interest.
Guest: Uwaah, I feel bad for that girl!!
Yamada: Eh, what, wait what?
MC: Yamada is the one I feel bad for.
MC: How did it turn up? Did you date or there wasn't anything like that?
Yamada: No, there wasn't. That was when I was in the 1st grade of high school, I didn't talk to them at all until my 3rd year.
Yamada: When we went on a school trip, we reconciliated. So after that it seemed like I was favored.
Guest: In the end it turns out to be a story how you were super popular!!
Another sensei gives her word here. She says that if the male goes with a deeper voice it might appease the female's heart. She suggested that it might be the best idea to say "Are you alright?" in a very deep voice to sound very mature. Not with panicky "Okay, okay, calm down" but with "Are you alright" in a calm voice that would resonate.
Yamada then reacts that it would be strange if he suddenly deepend his voice in one moment and it would rather sound as if he was messing arund. The sensei then suggested that Yama-chan should perhaps lower the voice by 3 levels and when he tries it, everyone in the studio rejoices as it was a really good tone.
I guess it was manly but I just couldn't help but laugh at that :D I don't know but I have a feeling like in the middle of raging I would rather slap the person who would suddenly change his voice pitch like this :DD What the heck stop messing around shorty But I never know.
Hope you don't mind I didn't recap the whole episode as it was really stuffed with lots of information lols.
Thank you for reading~
