You know how some birds fly at their own reflection (nearly killing themselves over something that isn't even there)? That's the mental image I always get when I hear the end of this song, and I thought it sort of fit the story. :) Plus, I was listening to it at the time, so...

My friend and I were going to go to a Democrat rally thing this last November in Ohio, and The National were going to be playing there! Sadly, we couldn't get transportation worked out...:(
They pretty much are. I ignore a lot of the stuff I used to listen to before I was introduced to them. :)

I agree. Also, with House's Vicodin, older age, and generally destructive behavior, I think he'd go before Wilson. :( It's hard to imagine one without the other; I had trouble enough when they made Wilson leave for those two months.
