It's a Sony Mavica CD1000, 2.1 Megapixel from 2001 that my Dad has. It uses Mini-Compact discs. I could get pictures faster onto LJ except until the disc is "finalized" it needs to be put on a computer with Direct CD; my Toshiba uses a different program which is incompatible so the CD has to be loaded onto the computer down the hall then copied back to the Toshiba through the network.
The videos will be from a trip my parents took on the 16th to Bartlett Cove at Glacier Bay and I thought I had the software to edit them but I don't so some will run several seconds longer than need be. They range in size from 120 KB to 808 KB so they aren't too big.
