80F can feel pretty warm if things are relatively humid and with no breeze. Particularly if you can't escape to a cooler place. Welcome to summer!

Thanks for the article link. That goal of convincing people that they need to return for a longer visit makes sense.

So is the siding a metallic, ceramic, or polymer-type material--or can you tell?

25% humidity is pretty dry, correct? That shouldn't feel too bad--assuming the air moves a little and if it isn't too much of a shock after cooler temperatures.

Where do tourists typically go "into the countryside"?

Yup, pretty dry, so the Heat Index temperature was about 3 degrees lower than the actual temperature. we don't ever have very high humidity and high temperatures at the same time. When it's hot here it never rains. It does take some adjustment after the cooler temperatures ( ... )
