I'm glad our Creator brings scenes such as that otherwise I'd be stumped sometimes as to what to use for the weekly picture. :-)

Those are not actually clouds you see but the steam and gases from a vent on the Mt. Roberts Volcano. ;-)

You seem skeptical. :-)

There is a dormant volcano on the outer coast some 90 miles from us, Mt. Edgecumbe adjacent to Sitka.

And in Canada to the ESE some 150 miles distant, there is Mt. Edziza on which which vents have erupted within the past 1,200 years. There are two craters on its side slopes, one name Coffee Crater and the other Cocoa Crater. :-)
