We should MST the episode!

YOU ARE NOT A PSYCHOPATH, NO REALLY, YOU'RE NOT.

The writers are saying House KNEW that no one was in the dining room, so it's really OK. I guess that means House is a psychic, not a psychopath. :D

I've been toying with tweeting Greg Yaitanes and telling him that if we were supposed to know that House knew no one was in the room, his directing SUCKS MIGHTILY.............

Also, i know if I'm feeling so angry with someone that I end up driving my car into their house, I always check first that nobody is home, because driving a car into someone's house DELIBERATELY isn't at all irrational :/

An MST is a very good idea, although it would mean re-watching the ep :O

Hmm, the cogs in my brain are turning...

Foreman: House, we found this in a far corner of the hospital, addressed to you.

House: *opening package* Hmm. "See into the future - watch this DVD now." Cool!

Wilson: House, are you sure that's a good idea?

House: *looking at Wilson*

yeah, it was fucking nuts. I'm amazed HL apparently didn't voice any objection to this.

While I was catching up with my f-list I read something (might have been from David Shore or might have been from a House person's Twitter, can't remember now) to the effect that the finale was written well away from all the contract negotiations and 'will we get renewed?' stuff, which is even more mind-boggling. It was stupid enough when I thought it was a way of giving the main actors an out.........

HL was probably too nice to raise a stink about it. He's known to be extremely polite.

He always says that he doesn't mind what the writers do with House as long as it's well-written, but more and more I'm thinking that's Hugh-speak for "You want House to do what?"

Ooh nothing I'm reading is persuading to me to watch this season. What are the two eps you'd call 'good'? Perhaps I'll just watch those..

It probably says a lot that when I look at the list of S7 eps I can only see one that I recall as being 'good' - I'd have to look at recaps to tell you which the other one was. The one I recognised was ep 5, Unplanned Parenthood, which contained a lot of House and Wilson being House and Wilson. Oh yes, I liked the one with the cat in it (Wilson adopted a cat from a patient, cat was called Sarah, House thought Wilson had a new girlfriend, entertainment ensued) but sadly I can't tell from the episode titles which one it was. I'll go and check the episode recaps at TWOP and see if I can tell from the short summaries. [edit: it was ep 12, You Must Remember ThisAre you worried about spoilers? Last week had what I thought was a very good House bit, and then ended with a final almost three minutes of HL and RSL acting the hell out of a proper House-and-Wilson scene ( ... )

Thank-you! I think srsly_yes has rec'd me the same ones. I stopped being worried about spoilers a while ago. I've even watched a few clips of H/W scenes (couldn't resist the cat!) But I can't bring myself to watch the eps. I downloaded ooh, the first 8 I think before I decided there was no point unless I was actually going to watch them.

I didn't watch at the start of the season because of boring busy RL reasons, then I couldn't face the Huddy & decided I would wait until it ended, then it didn't end for much longer than was initially thought, then it did end but everything I gathered was so negative I still haven't gotten to it. As it were.

A couple of minutes of Wilson is not necessarily a problem in itself, but being funny/lecturing is a terrible way of using that precious short time. I really hated him being the Huddy Whisperer which he rather was last season and I gather he was a lot this season. And I don't like Thirteen either, and have never seen the point of Taub. Gah! Bring back Amber/Kutner/etc...

Last week had House deciding that he could operate on his own leg to remove three small tumours (he had been taking an experimental drug which worked extremely well on rats (in the previous ep) until OOPS, not so much). That scene was really amazing. When his body went a bit *cough* shocky and he was shaking too hard to be able to use his surgical tools accurately, he tried ringing all his friend (ho ho, old joke) and team, none of whom answered (Wilson had his phone set on vibrate and slept through it) and he ended up calling Cuddy - when she arrived he made a point of telling her she was the last person he called. Cue her taking him to hospital and him waking up after some more efficiciently-performed surgery to find Wilson by his bed.

I like Taub; he amuses me. He moved in with Foreman this season (he and his wife decided to get divorced) and actually they make quite a funny pair. Thirtee, though, could go away and never return and I would be very very very happy.
