Total agreement there. Every single interview he's given about how he loves the part because he works so little kept running through my mind.

The rest I have major disagreements with. But I kind of figured my sandbox would be a little empty this week.

It actually made me enjoy the episode even more (I'm so mean XD )

I imagine it's totally killed any possibility of him ever doing another TV show, not that I would expect him to do one anyway...

You ARE mean! The poor guy just wants to come in and do one or two scenes with Hugh and get his paycheck, and they made him work his ass off.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing him in some guest roles on other shows, but that's probably NOT going to happen. For his own sake, I really hope he can get back to the stage at some point.

I think he might guest, provided he was guaranteed a maximum number of scenes he'd be in ("not more than two"). I'm sure he will get back to the stage sometime - it'll be interesting to see what roles he wants to do.

I have only just seen this ep! Have been on holiday (Geneva!) and kicking myself for picking this week to go away, of all weeks. If I hadn't been away I'd probably have gotten up in the middle of the night to download, or something...

Anyway it is my favourite episode ever *considered opinion after all of 15 mins* and ITA with everything you say.
