Argh, but I hate Deran Serafian's directing style. My son and husband refer to it as "booger cam." It's jittery and off-putting and I wind up forgetting about the plot and wondering exactly how much time actors must spend clipping their nose hair back when this guy's on the schedule to direct.

My heart was truly broken for Cuddy. Watching her hang her hopes on a decision by that poor messed-up kid was just wrenching.
