THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I considered making Rahm Emanuel only capable of speaking in capslock, but I thought that might be a little too painful on the eyes.

Rahm Emanuel is capslock in spirit, anyway. I'm certain your readership understands.

AHHAHAHAHAHAHHA AHAHAHAHHAH AHAAAAAAAAAHAHA

I love this with every fiber of my being. I am now imagining Arthur being back in Chicago for something and having dinner at Rahm's house and Eames being relegated to the kitchen to drink heavily with the other Chicago political wives. Thank you.

Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it!

Oh, that would be so bad for Eames. I doubt he follows U.S. politics at all, so he'll be reduced to just sitting around and looking pretty. At least until the wives start to talk about what dress they'll wear to the next function and Eames is totally on top of that mess.

And when Eames comes back with all this insider gossip of whose sleeping with who and what lobbyists are angling for next, Arthur decides they will come here always.

Eames just wants to know when he can get his cock sucked, please.

Personally I think Eames LOVES sitting around looking pretty because it takes the least amount of effort and has the greatest capacity for (a) irritating Arthur and (b) lols of all his available options. Of course, after Eames unearths all of this delicious behind the scenes gossip and Arthur decides dispatching Eames as his dumb trophy husband to all kitchens everywhere is a good plan, Eames will realize what a fatal error he's made.

You are, of course, right. I was thinking more in the way that Eames would find U.S. politics (especially Chicago politics) like a delightfully quaint soap opera, enjoyable to watch from a distance, but not really worth their time to get involved in.

I am all for Eames discovering his fatal errors though. You will be writing this, y/y? ;p
