Job go boom with the busy - warm weather = people getting evicted = MANY PEOPLE in shelter all at once. Plus a general time lag situation with the economy, I suppose. Anyway, it's getting nuts and is sure to only become more so

Good for you on the weight loss. I've just been writing to family to let them know how proud I am of my husband, who turned 60 on Jan. 17 and since then (after stern warnings from his doctor) he has buckled down to making better choices and eating smaller portions and as of today he has lost 41 pounds. I had truly thought he'd never do it, so I'm very proud of him and when he had his checkup today he was able to cut back on some of his med.--his doctor (who's mine, too) sent home word to congratulate me, too (he knows I do all I can to make it easier by putting his good snacks in small portions in the fridge, etc.) He feels a lot better and finds it easier to do tractor work, and his knees don't hurt as badly. So make this good change while you are young and your body will thank you for it, and hopefully you'll never end up with bad knees, etc., as my guy did.
Good luck at work, and with the big moves--I hope you've all found somewhere to go?
And yay for a new Stitches fic--I'm looking forward to it! Melissa M.
Wow, congrats on the weight loss! It really is a full time job almost, so combined with all the other stuff you have going on, it's no wonder you don't have as much time for LJ!
Hope you had a nice birthday last week! Best of luck on the move!
Hi! It's good to hear from you, though I completely understand on being so busy. Congrats on losing 50 pounds! I wish I had the time to do that! That sucks about having to move, but I'm glad you're ok with it.
