Now I'm weirdly disappointed he's never used that as a nom de plume in the show. Moriarty was good, but that's honestly better, if not overly lampshading.

I read the bit about Bentham on Locke's Lostpedia page, read about the Jacobin Club, read about Robespierre and went "THAT LITTLE FUCKER IS TOTALLY BEN!" So when presented with the option of giving Ben a fake name -- there you go. Saint-Just is the person who sent me to Wikipedia even though I doubt he'll show up in many more fic.

As for Ben taking over the penthouse, that is a Shape of Things to Come. Ahem.
