The senshi of destruction had run through the length of the ship, dodging Tagruato soldiers, cutting them down with her glaive before continuing towards the deck. Time was running out. She knew it, could sense it as much as she could sense her powers screaming at her to do something, to protect these people. It was her duty - it was her mission.

Her booted heels clicked on the floor as she finally came to a door marked "boat deck" and, taking a deep breath, she unlocked the door and peered outside. The fresh air of a dark gray pre-dawn greeted her...as well as the roar of something else. Not the monsters, but...Saturn narrowed her eyes and gripped her glaive in determination.

No more.

If this meant her life, she would not let them hurt anyone anymore. This would end today.

The Interpreter of Golgari stood on the top deck still covered by the last shadows of the fading night meditating to renew her Karma she had used to fight the guards and take the bridge. A noise disrupted her and she opened her eyes. The next battle was approaching; maybe one which would decide on the war. She whispered a prayer hardly audible in the upcoming gale ( ... )

Saturn sensed the woman before she spoke, and turned to look for the source of the voice. The power of destruction that was her calling seemed to find this stranger a kindred spirit of sorts, and she blinked large violet eyes up at her.

Let us fight side by side to stop them.

Saturn closed her eyes, a small wise smile on her cherub-like features. "Yes. To protect everyone..." she stepped further out onto the deck to stand next to the woman, twirling her glaive so that it was now aimed threateningly at the incoming calvary, "we will fight."

She glanced back at the woman. "My name is Hotaru." Secret identities were pointless now, here at the brink and end of all things.

Toph had her gas mask on as well as her steel armor. None of the guards could touch her now that she was completely covered in their own ship's metal. She had sent for assistance awhile ago, requesting anyone that could see to come and help her blow ships out of the sky or water. She knew as long as she had someone to aim her she'd be okay.

Her answer for help came quickly, teleporting out of nowhere. She quickly pulled up a wall to protect them from any guards on the top deck. Toph then explained what she wanted to do and without another word started ripping up metal and forcing it into large, semi-round shapes for easier throwing.

"Let's do this."

The minute he heard someone saying Toph needed help, Sokka instantly volunteered. He hadn't seen Toph at all the past few days, so he was glad to finally find her.

He was a little freaked at first at the whole teleportation thing, but after a moment of greeting his friend, Sokka quickly got down to business, listening to Toph's explanation.

"Right, sounds like a plan. Juuuuust make sure you leave some of the deck for us to stand on."

Using a scope on a sniper rifle in the place of binoculars, it was easy enough to pick out the planes in the sky and ships in the sea. The scope also gave him the numbers he needed to angle the shots.

"67 degrees north, 56 east..... now!" he cued. He had to lead the shots more than he was used to, but they'd soon fall into a rhythm.

MONSTER ATTACK cloverlovesit October 3 2009, 01:14:30 UTC
As the sun set on a day of incredible destruction and death, there were still three creatures that hadn't yet come into play. But now, the monsters that had guarded the edges of Manhattan, that had destroyed the homes and lives of its citizens, were instead going to fight for them ( ... )
