Seymour had, up until this point, done his best to keep his true intentions out of the eyes of the general public. Some, as Lady Yuna had, wouldn't take his ideas very well, but he knew... now was the time to set his plans into motion. If he were to truly save these people, he would need to act quickly and soon. Daniel nodded to Seymour as he stepped in, taking a look around. It was a modest enough place, comfortable-looking...normal. He didn't know if he'd been expecting something different, really, but that quiet song of warning in the back of his head stayed persistent.

"Good to see you, as well, Seymour," Daniel responded, disguising his wariness with a calm, relaxed exterior. "I've been...about as well as can be expected." A touch of weariness made its way into his voice. This place was draining, to say the least. "And yourself?"

Seymour was being perfectly polite, preferring not to upset Daniel or alert him to how different the Guado was (even if his hair alone made that difficult sometimes).

"Would you care for a drink? I am afraid I don't have much to offer here. Were I at home, you would have the finest my people could offer at your merest request."

He offered another smile, a gentle one, though as always with him these days, something more lurked behind the expression, something that was difficult to discern but would set anyone who was looking for it on edge.

"I have been well. I admit that I have not been outside the confines of my rooms in quite some time. Nothing has had the chance to bring me harm and I can only hope the same can be said for you."

Yeah, the hair was still a little hard to get used to. Even by this city's standards of strangeness, he was still having a little trouble not being distracted with thoughts of how on EARTH the guy got his hair to stick out like that ( ... )
