True, it may have been a city with which he was unfamiliar. But that hardly excluded the possibility of him being the only one from their world to wander under the grey skies and broken buildings. He wasn't even the only one to wear that oh-so-familiar hooded coat.

Admittedly, it would take some looking to spot the man drifting by in the shadows, but Zexion always had been one to notice the smaller details of things. He was just a hooded figure, as things stood, but there was a certain sense of gravity there, and a brief moment of lessened motion as he stopped to consider Zexion.

Three of thirteen. Four, if Saïx was truly here. Far less than he would have liked, but it would have to be enough. He would make it work, if that was what was called for.

Zexion paused and lifted his head, looking towards the shadows of the dark alleyways. There was a scent coming towards him, a familiar one, one which he wouldn't have expected to find in this strange place.

"Superior," whispered Zexion. His eyes pierced the darkness of the alleyway, discerning the hooded figure standing quietly within it.

He took a step forward, then reconsidered. Was he making a right decision? The Schemer grimly set his mouth in an expression of determination, his mind already calculating the numerous possibilities of the identity of the figure.

Ah, good. It seemed that the change in locations hadn't dimmed Zexion's senses at that very least. It was strange to see him, when last he'd seen him was some time ago - nearly a year, to be exact. But the precise details of that oddity could be looked into later. For now, he simply smiled, underneath his hood as Zexion approached.

The right decision? It was certainly a good decision, as far as Xemnas was concerned.

"I believe you already know the answer to that," he answered solemnly. "Or has this place taken that from you as well?"

That voice...it was the Superior. It could be no one else. Zexion slowly let down his guard, assured that the Superior would mean no harm to him.

"No, Superior," he replied respectfully, walking slowly towards his leader. "This place...has taken nothing from me."

He paused, putting a hand underneath his chin in contemplation. "But...I was supposed to be dead. My power was supposed to have been drained completely. Yet here I am, alive and well."

He had the urge to immediatly tell of what had happened in Castle Oblivion, about how Marluxia had wanted to take over the very Organization they had created together. But it could be discussed later. Right now it was more important to ascertain how he even got to the city in the first place.
