Tommy had spent the last few days to himself, taken different routes on his usual run around the city in a vain attempt to try and make himself feel better. Not days previously, he'd trashed that apartment and though he'd originally intended to spend the next couple of days finding other ones to trash - to take his mind off of the whole situation - but Billy had come and found him, which certainly had screwed up his plans. So he was now back home, but was still keeping to himself, albeit a little more publicly than he first had wanted, but whatever. Billy seemed happy he was around again even though he totally didn't have anything to do with him coming home. Nope.

It was because he'd taken different routes around the city lately, that he'd missed the other Speedster that was currently standing in front of the river - very similarly to what he'd done when he'd first gotten here. He'd spent countless days trying to figure out how to get out - and still was though it was more a team effort this time ( ... )

Pietro had just started to think thoughts he'd usually rather not think about. Like 'what if dad was here'. If his father was here....he'd be just as powerless and frustrated as he himself was. But, knowing his father, he'd actually come up with some sort of insane plan to get out of here. The kind of plan Pietro couldn't think up himself and possibly involved some morally-challenging things but one that was very welcome right now. Before he could even attempt trying to think like his father, a voice interrupted his thoughts.

Oh joy, another person was just what he needed. Only not. Like the crabs, Pietro ignored the voice as if he hadn't heard it. Only when the crabs actually leaped at him did he move away and with a burst of his original speed, he was out of harm's way in less than a second ( ... )

Tommy watched as the crab missed Pietro, grinning slightly at the noise it made before it hit the surface of the water, before turning his attention back to the Speedster. Billy had mentioned something about a teenaged version of their 'uncle' Quicksilver, but Tommy had been, up to this point, a little preoccupied with his own needs to seek the speedster out. Not that it mattered, Tommy was sort of curious about Pietro, but he mostly saw the whole thing as competition.

As they faced each other, Tommy glanced him over, obviously not bothered by how similar they did look. He'd seen Quicksilver enough times to know that they were similar - but that went with the territory as well as the fact that they were 'magically related' or something. At least he didn't have a gay ear piercing, or 'aerodynamic' antennae or whatever the hell they were supposed to be. They were, however, similar in how thy acted. Tommy was willing to guess that Pietro had been here for days, trying to figure out how to get across. Pfft. If Tommy couldn't do it, there ( ... )

"That and the whole nine yards," Pietro replied with a roll of his eyes before straightening up and placing both hands on his hips. It wasn't like he hadn't appreciated the information, he had but it got kind of annoying what with everyone stressing about the whole crab thing over and over again. Billy's information had probably been the most useful though.

But then there was the thing with the guy claiming to be his nephew of all things. He had no idea how to even start dealing with that so he didn't, and did his best to try not to think about it. If he did he feared his brain might explode or something. There was just something about 'Wanda' and 'kids' that did not compute. Though now that he had one of his supposed nephews standing right in front of him, it was kind of hard to ignore ( ... )
