It was with the newest information - the fact that the chances of getting off this damned place were getting increasingly slimmer - along with all the previous build up that had pushed him nearer the edge. There'd always been a chance before. Albeit a slim one, but it was still there. And the idea of being stuck here, till whoever had brought them here decided what to do with them all, honestly scared him. He wasn't about to let something like before happen to him again. He couldn't go through with that again, and yet the thought wouldn't leave his mind.
Tommy needed to get away. He needed some time just to blow off some steam, try and get back to being able to cope with all the shit that was happening around him ( ... )

"Tommy? What -" He took a step forward, wincing a little at the crunch of broken glass underfoot. "Did you do this? What happened?"

Tommy remained where he was when Billy started to speak, being unusually motionless and quiet by his standards. There was a few moments of awkward silence, before Tommy took a deep breathe, and turned to look at Billy a quirked eyebrow, and a half smirk creeping over his face.
"So what if I did?" he asked smoothly, remaining seated, looking at his brother with a questioning smirk. "It's not like anyone lives here or anything. Who cares?"

"I care!" he replied, already sounding rather frustrated. "You've been missing a whole day, Tommy, what have you been doing? I mean, apart from -" Billy gestured about the room as he took another look around it, hesitating just briefly as he caught sight of Tommy's feet. He'd never actually seen them without socks before, and - well, it was obvious why he'd never seen them without socks before. For a moment he wondered what had happened to them, but - juvie. Right. It was kind of easy, sometimes, to forget where he'd actually met Tommy. He'd mentioned, once, that his imprisonment had basically involved months of torture in the name of science, and then it had never come up again. Billy didn't really blame him - it wasn't like he himself was all that open about trauma ( ... )
