Characters: Xemnas and whoever wanders across him Content: The Superior arrives in Manhattan Location: Somewhere near Penn Station Time of day: Dusk Warnings: ...Xemnas likes to talk?
Aerith didn't get out very often anymore, though it wasn't because she didn't want to. The massive amount of overpowered crabs nowadays made that difficult for her and the last time she'd gone out alone she'd forgotten to tell anyone and had worried Cloud sick. She wouldn't be doing that again.
So, she'd offered a walk to Cloud and he'd taken her up on it, offering a silent bodyguard, which she didn't mind at all. She liked his company.
It was much better than the company she turned a corner to find. She blinked, not sure she was seeing correctly. "Cloud?" she pressed, stopping as she frowned. Whoever it was wore the Organization coat and the sight made her stomach turn. Which one had arrived this time? "Who is that?"
Cloud liked Aerith's company, too. He would spend however much time she wanted to spend with him. He wanted to make up for lost time. The sudden change in Aerith's mood, however, affected his own.
"I don't know..." Cloud replied. He remembered the Orginazation from when they had attacked Radiant Garden, then Hollow Bastion, and set back the Restoration Commitee's work. The man just didn't... feel right. Something about him was unsettling.
"We need to tell Sora."
Hopefully this man wouldn't see them, and they would be able to simply avoid them.
Unfortunately for the both of them, while Xemnas hadn't seen them, he had heard them. A pair of voices he was not particularly familiar with. But such things were to be expected in a new world.
It wasn't until one of them mentioned the hero of the Key that he finally turned to look at them, offering them a better look at his face as he did so. After all these lengths it seemed the Hero was yet destined to find him - a fact he wasn't entirely sure whether to pleased or annoyed about.
But in the meantime, it couldn't hurt to see what they were willing to tell him.
Aerith inwardly agreed with Cloud about needing to tell Sora. Whoever this man was, he was giving her a bad feeling. "You're right-" she began, cutting herself off as the man turned to face them. She didn't recognize him, but still... she wasn't sure she needed to. He was asking after Sora and that put her on the defensive.

"Sora is here?"

"What do you need with him?" she asked calmly.
