Molly smiled sheepishly at Rosette, walking over to where she was sitting earlier to collect her supplies. "Simply put I'm turning it another color with dye."

She gestured for Rosette to follow to her cleared out area, already set for them. "Mainly it's just the adding this dye mixture into my hair that I need help on." She explained, setting out the tools.

"Ohhhkay." It made sense. Rosette didn't really see the appeal, but that wouldn't stop her from helping Molly out.

She watched Molly lay out what exactly they'd be using. "I'm guessing you know what you're doing, because this is completely new to me," she grinned.

"I'll walk you through it, it's pretty simple don't worry too much." Molly responded. Everything was set up within minutes along the large mirror she had...borrowed set up and secured into place.

"You're pretty much using this paintbrush and 'painting' my hair with the dye." Molly said in the middle of adding the last of the Vaseline to protect her skin. Putting on a pair of gloves from the box, she dipped the brush into the mixture, stroking it gently through her hairline. "Not that hard, right?"

Now, Rosette figured, was probably not the best time to mention that she wasn't the greatest artist (or an artist at all). Besides, something that sounded this simple couldn't be too difficult. "Right." Maybe.

Rosette followed Molly's lead and snapped on a pair of gloves, then took the brush and mimicked the other girls' movements, brushing the dye through Molly's hair. "So," she started after a minute or so spent getting the hang of this, "why'd you start doing this? Dying your hair, I mean." There was a saying about curiousity and cats, but it could be ignored for now.
