Not very hard to miss, no, not when he'd been tagging along after Daniel and Leon the entire day Leon arrived. Leon came to the conclusion that Almasy was either masochistic, extremely bored, or that maybe...there was a grain of truth in what he said.

It would certainly explain how he knew about Lionheart.

Leon walked up to the other man, then slightly past before halting and crossing his arms. He could still see Seifer out of the corner of his eyes, and nodded once in greeting. "Almasy."

Leon was here to be outfitted, not to be social.

Oh, more than simply a grain of truth if you asked Seifer. Okay, so Leonhart had forgotten practically either ever, but hey. Some things never changed.

The man's taste in weaponry, for one. It had been 'Lionheart' for as long as he'd known him and he didn't seem to have forgotten enough to change that. But then again he really would have been surprised if that had happened. Especially with Griever and all.

"Leonhart."

Aaaaand still not good with social graces. The more things changed...

Leon shifted, watching a passing native walk by and provide them with a wide berth. Either the man expected the two men to strike out or he was not interested in running into them anymore than Leon was interested in meeting him.

He'd noticed that tensions were riding high, getting worse as time went on. At this rate, he worried that no one would be safe.

"What's in it for you?" Leon had thought about it the whole way here. No matter which way he viewed it, Seifer was getting the short end of the stick in their deal.

As for Seifer, he was simply ignoring the rising tensions with characteristic abandon. So people were getting up in arms. Big deal, he could fend for himself if it came to it. That and he'd never really cared about people's opinion of you.

"Hard to have a good spar if only one guy's armed."

Because like hell would he admit to being possibly-concerned about Squall's well-being.
