Roxas's agitated mental pacing had been almost constant for the last few days, and had often gone on into the night, when Sora was trying to sleep, disrupting his dreams and making rest difficult. He knew it wasn't helping, but he couldn't help it. He couldn't relax like this, it was impossible. He was slightly, briefly irritated when Sora elected to ask the network, as ever annoyed at having to get help from someone else, but if someone could separate them it would be more than worth the bruised pride.

He was more restless than ever as Sora headed out. If this was going to work, then he it couldn't come quick enough, and if it wasn't ... Sora's hope was eroding it slightly, for now, but Roxas was ever the pessimist.

Besides, worrying over this made it easier to not keep thinking about what Marluxia had said ...

Harry had been wracking his brain on how best to deal with the rather odd situation Sora and Roxas had found themselves in. In truth, in all his years as a practicing wizard, Harry had never run into a situation quite like this one, though really in his line of work that happened more often than most people would think.

One thing about magic, it always seemed to surprise you.

Still, at the very least if he understood their situation correctly, and that was a big if, a Soulgaze would at least be able to point him in the right direction.

Hearing the knock, Harry moved to the front door and temporarily lowered the wards, after making sure Sora was the one on the other side. Opening the door, Harry smiled at Sora and said, "Hey there, come on in and lets see if we can get this sorted out. Dr. Harry is ready to operate."

Roxas being this agitated hadn't done Sora any favors, either...with Roxas mentally moving around so much, it made sleep very difficult, as he wasn't able to get comfortable for hours. Sometimes he even ended up dreaming some of Roxas's memories. Either way, Roxas being impatient wasn't helping either of them find a solution.

Even in his time spent traveling the worlds Sora hadn't quite had this problem...although he'd experienced things just as weird. So in the end, maybe it wasn't as weird as first thought. But it was problematic enough, especially for Roxas.

Finally, the magic wards fell from the apartment and the door opened to reveal Harry. He smiled some at seeing there, feeling more reassured already. "Hi Harry! We're...uh, I'm glad you think you can do something!" His smile turned a little sheepish at Harry's joke, especially since he wasn't entirely certain how much he actually was joking. "Uh, not the sort of surgery that requires having to put us under, riiiight?"

Roxas probably wouldn't have wanted to admit that he was glad too, but if Sora was then he was, and it wasn't like he could hide it.

If it does mean he's going to put us under, maybe it'll be like when Axel knocked us out, he suggested sarcastically, although the sliver of hope behind it would be obvious to Sora - the little spot of missing Axel was better hidden, but still there.
