Bobby was wandering New York as well, but for a different reason. He had already taken up residence in the Bryant Park Hotel. There were quite a few people there and it seemed like a good place to stay to gather information and keep in contact. He'd thought about staying in the Manhattan Tower Hotel, but hadn't been able to find it, it was probably for the best since the place would have reminded him of Gunny.

He was passing the sporting goods store when he caught movement inside. Bobby was curious. Plus, he had a weapon so he felt more than safe. It was a staff he had found in a martial arts school. He didn't feel comfortable with guns so he was just going to rely on a blunt object. Passing the sporting goods store reminded him that maybe he should collect a few other blunt objects as well.

Bobby caught sight of the other person as soon as he entered the store, "Oh...hey," he paused before smiling slightly, "I heard they were having a sale." It was a joke of course, Bobby was lame like that.

Ness, startled, dropped the bats he'd been comparing with a loud "CLANG".

"Oh, huh? Ah, haha! Yeah, I guess they are!" he said, taking his time in getting the joke.

"I'm Ness. Who are you?"

He winced when the bats loudly dropped to the ground, "Heh, sorry, didn't mean to sneak up on you." Now he knew how Daniel had felt.

"Nice to meet you, Ness. I'm Bobby Pendragon."

"You looking for a good bat too?" Ness asked, picking up the fallen equipment.
