(OOC: Technically you're really early since Tuesday in-game is next Thursday. So in a way you DO rule! ;D )Daniel had been amused when he recieved his patrol assignment via fortune cookie, mainly because he had had this happen before. At least this time, he knew Giselle a little better and they had had a nice chat before she left ( ... )

((OOC: Being super bored today probably helped :P))

"Sure is," Brisco said, a broad grin spreading across his face. He enjoyed both mornings and meeting new people, so as far as he was concerned, the day was already going in a pretty good direction.

"And that would make you Daniel Jackson?" he asked, putting his hand out. He hadn't formed much in the way of a first impression just yet. The only person Brisco had ever really known who wore glasses was Socrates Poole, but so far the similarities ended there - especially when he considered the weapon Daniel was carrying with what Brisco could only describe as gusto. He actually tried for a second to picture Soc carrying a thing like that and had to stop before he started laughing to himself. He'd probably let himself have a hearty chuckle about it later, though.

Brisco nodded along as he listened to the plan. It was simple enough, given the vagueness of their assigned task. Watching out for crabs didn't seem to be something you could really strategize for. The things didn't really have a modus operandi to speak of. Back in the day a bounty hunter knew what he was getting into when he went after a criminal, none of this weird monster business, no sir ( ... )
