Tommy had been out all day, as he was most days, looking around the city, busying himself with killing any crabs he came across, and just doing something that wasn't lolling around in the clubhouse. He still wasn't quite used to being confined to one city - most of the time he'd country hop if he was really bored and there was nothing to do. Having that freedom was a luxury he thought he'd not take for granted again, but apparently he had started to

Kate had been scavenging most of the day, trying to find some better crafted weapons than what she'd currently made due with, in addition to anything else that might be useful. Along the way she'd had to put a few crabs down, but nothing particularly pressing. When she'd returned to find the clubhouse empty she didn't give it much pause, and by the time she'd taken a shower and cleaned up from her daily runaround Tommy had made an appearance, but still no Billy.

She didn't worry, not off the bat, but once they settled in on the movie, and she let Tommy successfully get away with draping his arm over her (which, she wouldn't admit, was kind of nice) she started to get worried. It wasn't like Billy to keep late hours. She had just about resolved when the movie was over to go out and look for him when the door opened.

She glanced back over her shoulder while Tommy talked, and as soon as she caught sight of Billy she was pulling away and standing, walking around the couch to her friend.

"Are you okay?" He looked like he'd had a rough

"I look that bad, huh?" Billy said with a strained sort of smile. His heart wasn't really in it, but it was plain at least that he was relieved to see both of them. "It was - uh. No, it's fine. I'm okay." He paused a moment, covering his face with his hand, and then abruptly went on, "Did you guys hear - on the network? The ..." He trailed off, not really sure how to articulate what had happened to Andrew Basil, or if he wanted to - but he needed to make sure that Kate and Tommy knew. "The guy."

Tommy remained on the couch as Kate moved and watched her walk away from him before he shifted so that he could see them both without having to stretch his neck too hard.

He frowned at Billy as he spoke, chewing on his bottom lip slightly. Tommy rarely checked the network. Why would he need to? If any of his team wanted to talk to him he would always be easy to get hold of without resorting to computers. He only ever used computers when he was bored, and usually that was restricted to gaming.

"Guy?" He asked, eyebrow raising quizzically. "What guy?"
