Characters: Nara Shikamaru, Yasutora Sado Content: A day during a week that mostly nothing is happening in. Location: 225 W. 57th Time of day: Afternoon Warnings: Incredibly talkative individuals.
Sado was stretched out on the floor, his back to the couch as he worked to tune his guitar. The past few days had been rather eventful, but Orihime was safe once again, and that was all that mattered for the moment.
The battle with the creature had drained the teenager badly, and since his companion seemed in no rush to speak, he was content to let the silence fill the room, save for the gentle strum of his guitar.
Looking up, he couldn't help but admire the beautiful sky. Who knew, maybe today it would inspire a song, but if not, that would be alright to.
The gentle sound of guitar tuning didn't bug Shikamaru, there were louder more annoying things usually happening in this place. Monsters, Naruto, women... the guitar was soothing. Added to the relaxing nature of now. Most of the city was relaxing since the victory of rescue.
Also most of the city was DEAD TIRED from it. Injuries and fatigue were a side-effect of stupid plans that worked. Shikamaru kept his gaze out the window as he let his mind drift like the clouds, no puzzles, no plans, just peaceful thought.
Sado had to admit he was a little surprised when Shikamaru spoke up. He hadn't had too many chances to hang out with the other teen, but Shikamaru had always seemed to treasure silence when he was able to get it.
Lips turning up slightly, Sado glanced over at Shikamaru. Well, if the other boy wanted to talk, Sado certainly wouldn't refuse him.
