He followed Russel to the makeshift laboratory, merely watching as he got everything set up and tested the electrical current. Finally, he spoke up; "Brother, if there's anything I can help with..." He could at least ease some of the burden. That was why he was here.

Sunglasses - check.
Mac strode into the Library Hotel, all smiles. He had his doubts, sure, but considering what the people found, it might've been worth it after all.
"Hey, Russel!" he called in greeting, pulling up a chair. "I see you're already at work." Without another word, he flipped open his knife's screwdriver attachment and began to help. He had a feeling this would hold a lot of good stuff for them.

"Hey, slow down, Mac," Russel told him. "We don't know what this thing is yet."
But to Luis, he pointed with his screwdriver. "In that cabinet in the corner, there's some vials. I was going to tackle those after this thing."

That box looked pretty ominous. Whatever it was used for, it couldn't be anything good, could it?
"Let me know if you get hungry. You won't have to get up, but I'm at least gonna make sure you eat something," he said.
