She was standing in what had previously been the training room when she heard Billy call out, and sighing a little at the state of the clubhouse she turned back towards the door, picking up the pace a little and smiling when she spotted Billy.
"Now there's a sight for sore eyes."

And there was of course that thing where leaving the drapery and fittings to Kate meant that he'd spent most of the morning carrying Kate around the city, collecting things as they went. Tommy didn't mind in the slightest and he had the feeling that neither did Kate since she hadn't exactly complained. That was part of the reason he went as fast as he could in this damned city - it wasn't as nearly as fast as he wanted it to be, but Kate still looked like she enjoyed it and thats all that really mattered ( ... )

"I could say the same for you, how's -" He broke off, rolling his eyes a little, as his brother interjected. "Yeah, thanks for that, Tommy, the oozing is exactly what I wanted to be reminded of. How're you guys doing over here?" he asked, peering past them into the clubhouse and raising his eyebrows slightly when he saw the state it was still in. "Sheesh. This is going to be fun."

"Without Eli and Teddy's superstrength, renovations are going a little slowly." Not that they particularly needed superhumans to get the job done, Kate knew her way around a hammer and nails, but work your strengths where you've got them. Figuratively and literally.
