He tossed a few silk shirts into a bag, most shades from black to gray. Then kept looking around. This was about the time he heard someone entered. His training told him to hide, which he did, effortlessly. It didn't take him any effort to get to the catwalks above the stage.
...
Then he turned on one of the non-destroyed spotlights, and dropped down onto the DEAD CENTER OF THE STAGE into a flashy pose. Remarkably he did it without a word, just a grin. Stars sparkled around him for no apparent reason.

"That was a marvelous entrance!" she said, making her way down the aisles, toward the stage.

It took him a moment to realize the problem in what he said, "Oh, not assassinating anyone here. No Eggs of Kishin to worry about, just those dull crabs." Hoping to reassure her that he had no intent to harm her, unless she was evil. She didn't seem that evil, she liked his entrance! Okay, so she went for her weapon, but anyone would given how great he was! He did have a combat knife on each hip, it was only natural given this place to be armed and ready to use your weapons.
Black★Star thought he was forgetting something, but he couldn't place what. Ah, it probably doesn't matter.

But she pushed that thought aside for the moment. He certainly was a bit full of himself, but he seemed so happy about the whole thing, that Garnet couldn't quite bring herself to be irritated.
It also probably helped that she was still riding that initial high of being in a real theater, after all this time.
"Do you come here often?" she asked, though her eyes looked everywhere but at him, taking in the seating, the stage, the elaborate lighting What still worked, anyway...
