Characters: Zetta, anyone else? Content: Zetta returns to Manhattan Location: Outside the Internet Cyber Cafe on 7th street Time of day: Late Afternoon, not long after his journal post Warnings: Nothing beyond Zetta himself.
After being stuck indoors for the duration of the power outage, Casey had taken advantage of an afternoon and gone wandering around the island, trying to get some things done. Mainly, stocking up on things that she knew she may need, and find some things that she wanted, especially since she knew where to find most of it.
Turning to head up seventh, she started back to the hotel she was still staying at. She hadn't decided if she was heading back up to her apartment or not. There were actually people here, and she definitely knew about strength in numbers, and that rule applied very well here.
"Woah." She said, seeing someone ahead of her. "I wonder how much hairspray that takes in the morning..."
Zetta looked up as he heard a voice. Didn't look to be anyone he'd seen before, but, then again, he really hadn't looked through the journals very long. Just long enough. A cocky grin spread across the Overlord's face as he regarded the woman. "None. I wake up this badass every morning. Like I'd put any girly crap in my hair anyway."
Casey rolled her eyes at the strange man's comment. "I wonder then, how comfortable it is to sleep with hair like that. Looks like a very uncomfortable pillow." He reminded her of some of the people she had met before...mostly the cockiness of his voice.
"And hair spray isn't that girly. It has plenty of other uses." That she had never used it for, and for good reason. She was on the good side of things.
He stared at her confusedly. "What's that supposed to mean? It's hair." What did he care how comfortable his hair was? Pillows were supposed to be pillows. What did hair have to do with that?
"What, like flamethrowers?" He'd heard about that, at least. Unless there was something else he was missing.
