Yuusuke hit the street in borrowed clothes-- shoes just this side of too big, jeans that didn't fit right and some jacket from whoever that made him feel out of place. Not being able to wear your own clothes was weird enough, let alone in a place like this.

He'd been considering that guys' offer on English lessons, but he and teaching never went hand in hand.

It wasn't just the uncomfortable clothes that had Yuusuke in a pissed off mood as he stalked around the city, it was lack of answers to simple questions. This place wasn't anything like home, and it was getting under his skin.

Hayner, probably more on the alert than was really necessary, turned quickly on his heals when he heard the footsteps approaching him. But he quickly relaxed when he realized it was just a boy, who probably couldn't be any older than he was.

The kid looked pretty odd in his ill-fitting clothes. And pretty pissed off. "Hey, what's the matter with you?" He asked, not bothering to introduce himself.

Hardly noticing the other kid before he'd spoken up, Yuusuke had a dubious look on his face as he gave the kid a once over. Not that he understood that well, the concern in his voice would be hard to miss. Also, he only replied since it didn't seem like the kid was challenging him or anything. Eyeing that hunk of wood in his hand though, Yuusuke wasn't too sure yet. Damn, he should have paid better attention in school. "Nothing."

Hayner did not fail to notice that Yuusuke's eyes traveled right to his weapon, and he gripped it more tightly in response, unaware that he would be giving the confused kid even more of the wrong idea. He wasn't looking for a fight, but this kid was unarmed and he wasn't looking to get his only weapon stolen from him, either.

He also observed that the kid had a pretty weird accent when he (barely) spoke. He huffed at the somewhat cold response, "Doesn't look like nothing to me." He replied, sounding more than anything irritated that he'd received such a curt response when he'd actually tried to make conversation with the stranger.
