Characters: Etna, Flonne Content: Flonne goes to drag Etna back home where she belongs. Location: BPH to Library Hotel Time of Day: Mid morning Warnings: A Demoness and a Fallen Angel...so cute.
Once Flonne had discovered where Etna was, she'd left the computer, grabbed her bat, and run out the door, not stopping until she'd reached the Bryant Park Hotel. It was a long run, sure, but Flonne was running partly on excitement and partially on the not entirely irrational fear that Etna would disappear before she got there.
That fear was gone the moment she burst through the door and caught sight of Etna on the couch. "Etna-san!" she cried, bolting towards the demon and catching her in a flying hug that squished the pillow between them and nearly knocked the couch over backwards. "Etna-san! You're here! You're back! Etna-san!" Further questioning (along with a modicum of coherency) would come later. For now, Flonne was simply overjoyed to see her friend.
Etna had just enough time to process she had heard Flonne's voice when a blond blur slammed into her, knocking the wind out of the demon and nearly sending the whole couch rolling over.
"Ack! Flonne-chan! You trying to kill me," Etna demanded, flailing as the Fallen Angel squeezed the life out of her. Etna's tail stuck straight out in distress, the pillow her only protection.
Of course, for all her protests, Etna did briefly return the hug with a muttered, "Missed you to Flonne-chan."
Flonne gave her friend one final squeeze - she really had missed her - before sitting up and scooting over on the couch, giving Etna room to breathe. Nobody in the Netherworld hugged like Flonne, and Etna probably needed some time to get used to it after her long absence.
Speaking of long absences...
"Ah- Etna-san?" Flonne tried. "When you left, you went back to the Netherworld, right?" She paused, considering her next question. "Ha-has it changed a lot?"
Etna let out a gasp of relief as she felt air flood back into her lungs. Flonne's hugs could be deadlier than a Giga level spell.
She blinked at Flonne's question, before rubbing her forehead with a sigh. It figured the Prince hadn't told her. Tail twitching in distress as she rubbed her forehead, Etna said, "Flonne-chan, this is the first time I remember being here. Believe me, this is not a place I'd forget, as much as I'd want to."

She was really getting tired of explaining this.
