Tatsuki took a deep breath. She couldn't help but smile, as she jogged her way to the Library Hotel. She didn't want to waste any time, after all. She had a lot of lost time to make up for. She still couldn't help but regret not having been there for Orihime's rescue, something that, for once, she could've done something about.

Though it had been on her mind a lot since it had happened, somehow, it managed not to matter right now. She paused to clip her hair to the side, to keep it out of her eyes; it had grown a good inch and a half longer than she was used to by now. Now the hotel was in plain sight, and as she started walking again, she could make out that smiling face she'd missed so much on the other side of the doorway. She tried to hold back the tears of joy in her eyes as she entered the lobby, doing a mediocre job of it, and it was no sooner than she was inside that her walk gave way to a charge. She leapt onto her old friend, wrapping her arms around her.

And then she smiled wide as she gave up holding back.
