Characters: Salome, Pram Content: Two overlords on the rag sourly planning what their next step is. Translation : ZETTA WHERE R UUUUUUU?? Location: A mysterious apartment on E. 14th Street Time of day: Morning Warnings: None, really.
While Pram appeared undaunted from the current situation on the outside, she only wished she could be that uncaring on the inside. They'd had no luck finding Alex nor Zetta. She was sure that stupid kid had taken him at first, but now... now no one seemed to know where he had gone. Zetta was loud. There was no way he could end up tucked on a bookshelf and forgotten. It just couldn't happen.
Pram just had no answers for Salome, and she hated it. She always could think of something, but she was grasping at straws at best now.
And now here was Salome looking to her for answers, and she didn't have them. Real or fake. She hated it.
Realizing it had been a long moment since Salome had spoken and she hadn't even still replied, the young Overlord looked away, fumbling to try to say something. "Um... well..." she started, pausing as she tried to find words, "Relax, I guess, right?"
Okay, that had been pretty lame, but nothing she could have said at this point would be anything but.
She sighed sadly, it figures. There wasn't much either of them could think of at this point. After all they've gone through, after all the wars and slaughters, the fights for dominance and control... they were nothing. Absolutely useless.
Pram was right, moaning and berating about it wasn't going to help anyone. Salome had to think about her health, even that made her anxious. It was easy to hide the pain, but the coughs and the blood that came with it were harder to dismiss in her case.
Even so, she looked out the window, tapping the glass slightly with her finger nails while in thought. "I think this is obvious but..." Salome paused, she expected the worst from another demon, "We should work together. A... truce, you could say."
A 'truce' of sorts was what Alex, Zetta and she'd agreed between themselves not so long ago. Continuing that trend with Salome made sense. Heck, Salome had been a human. She would probably be more useful than Alex and Zetta had been combined. Not that was a terribly hard thing to be. Still, she understood humans and knew about human... things. It could be helpful.
Well, as long as Salome didn't keel over on her.
Pram couldn't help but wonder how Salome's illness would fair here. It would be bad if Zetta came back and found Salome had kicked the bucket.
"Sure, works for me," Pram replied, with little hesitation. She had nothing to lose from it, either way.
Salome nodded in return, there was nothing else they could do here. It really, really aggravated her, "Perhaps we should search again, maybe this time we'll find clues. This city is so large, just maybe..."
Her eyes drooped slightly, where was she going to begin? Salome wobbled away from the window, it was true that her body was feeling faint as of usual, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. Not now, she was scared of what would happen if she were to die again alone.

"Today, we should try to search again today."
