Character(s): Riku, Rosette, anyone else Content: Riku goes for a walk and still needs medical attention. Location: Keyblader's Court, the apartments near the New Museum of Contemorary Art Time: Morning Warnings: Riku has boo-boos.
Rosette was in a pretty terrible mood. She had no idea how she'd managed to miss a day, but somehow Sunday had just disappeared. There was no way she could've slept through it - if she'd slept that long, there was no way she'd be this damn tired.
But no, she was exhausted and she couldn't get back to sleep after she woke up. Sometimes she just couldn't win.
So she'd gone out exploring, hoping to find...she didn't know. A way back to the mainland, maybe? Answers? Maybe what happened to the mysterious missing day?
Or maybe she was just hoping to clear her head, think of something that didn't end up going in endless circles. It would be a nice change.
She rounded a corner and was a little surprised to see somebody else up and about this early. "Hey," she greeted the boy, lacking anything better to say.
Riku was startled into alertness by the girl he almost ran into. He looked down at her, still a little wide-eyed. "Sorry. Hey." He turned his injured side away from her almost subconsciously. "...You from around here? Or are you new, too?"
"Kind of," Rosette replied, crossing her arms. "I'm from Manhattan, but it sure didn't look like this when I left. The crabs are new, too.
"I'm Rosette, by the way," she added almost as an afterthought. Maybe being out in the streets when she was too tired to think clearly wasn't such a good idea after all.
The youth nodded. "Riku. Nice to meet you." He paused a moment before finally asking, "Hey, since you're at least sort of familiar with this place... Any clue where I might find a doctor? I'm a little beat up."
That was the understatement of the week. His fatigue, along with a little of the pain of his rib, could be heard in his voice.
