It had taken a lot of time, and several movie marathons, to get ready, but operation 'Steal the Magic Book' was about to go in effect. At the moment, Yachiru was standing on the roof of a building across from Mao's, staring at his room with a pair of binoculars that were far too big for her.

The tiny Shinigami herself was dressed head to toe in a tiny tuxedo. It had taken a lot of work to find one in her size, but it turned out you could find anything in Manhattan. Finally deciding she couldn't actually see anything through the binoculars, Yachiru set them down and turned to Stitch. "Ready Delta Seven," she asked, using the code name they had agreed upon in advanced.

"Ready." Stitch said, looking up from his survey of the street running between where they were, and where the target was. His ears twitched, taking in every sound that was going on around, although he noticed that his range was lower than normal.

"On mark." He said, holding up a makeshift gatling bun, loaded and ready to attach to the wall next door.

Who threw books away like this, seriously?! Well, besides him. He'd done it pretty often, but those books had all been boring as hell and he hadn't been a book then. At least he hadn't been set on fire again, which was... only kind of a relief, considering how everything smelled terrible.

Just about anything would be better than this.

Yachiru nodded, lifting her own grapple gun that Stitch had made her. "Three, two, one, mark!"

Aiming, she pulled the trigger, casing the grapple to soar through the air and hook onto their target building. Technically neither of them probably needed them, but this was how the movies said it was done, and they had to do it right.

She tugged on the rope a few times to make sure it was secure, then stepped onto the ledge and jumped into the air. She couldn't help but giggle in delight as she swung through the air above the streets of Manhattan, the wind rushing past her face. It was just like racing through the Soul Society in Ken-chan's back, an activity that had made Yachiru a bit of a speed demon.

When she hit the wall with her feet, however, she was all business. Ignoring the smashed bricks her impact had caused, she climbed up to the roof and made her way to the ventilation duct. Turning to Stitch she whispered, "Phase one complete. Delta Seven, ready to open the duct?"
