The little patchwork person had never been this far up the island before, but she had all but exhausted her options south of Central Park, and it was nice to get a change of scenery every once in a while. Plus, she had had to walk so far, so she'd better find something interesting!

And, well, lucky her! Someone stuck in a tree was certainly interesting enough! Fran glanced up at him and waved. "Hello, sir! Do you need help?" Of course, it looked obvious, but for all she knew, he had put himself up there.

Joel was typically not one to venture this far north as well, especially by his lonesome. But after hearing that someone who'd been missing for several months had been found again, Joel had gotten it into his mind to perhaps go on a little search for Delirium. He did feel partially responsible for her, as much as he had for anyone in the city so far, and it'd be a shame if she really was gone. It wouldn't hurt to look, anyways.

Of course, that was until he was distracted by the sounds of someone who was apparently...stuck in a tree. He noted the girl talking to him...oh yeah, it was Frankenstein's niece. He'd wondered what happened to her.

Joel would probably get around to offering help as well, but first, he had to find the humor in this situation. "Hey there, Tarzan."

He had closed his eyes, trying to will the sick feeling away. Snake wondered that he probably would be feeling dizzy if he weren't too busy being stuck in a tree. The sudden voice below him didn't make his day any better apparently, Snake was a soldier and he's supposed to keep an watchful eye always, and this. He turned his head to see who it was. Little GIRL just had snuck up on him. Trying to get a better look on her Snake just... tried to ignore the stitches and the screws. He had seen more disturbing things ( ... )

Girl? Fran was no girl! She was a brilliant woman! But alas~, if that's what people wanted to believe...

"Ah, you must be new! Welcome to Manhattan!" she said, completely oblivious to the fact that he still needed help getting out of that tree. He was perfectly poised to fall out and break his leg, after all, and she'd be a fool to lose a potential customer so easily! "My name is Dr. Fran Madaraki, but you can feel free to call me Fran." She smiled blankly at him. "You might be safer up there, now that I think of it!" Ah, no, that wasn't right. "Ah, my mistake! I forgot the crabs can climb." If Snake wanted an explanation, he wasn't getting one.
