Maka was out again, seeing what she could do to help with the damage caused recently. It wasn't much, seeing as her specialty was more books and combat than labor, but it was better than sitting home doing nothing.

A voice carried to her, and she turned to spot the familiar form of Renji headed her way. She stopped to wait for him, especially since a quick soul sense told her that he was beyond worried agitation. Something had happened, and he was not a happy camper because of it.

"What do you need, Renji?" she asked as he got closer. If he needed help moving something, she was a lousy person to ask, but if he was in the midst of searching for someone she might be able to do something.

He blinked when he realized it was Maka, well that was a little reassuring that he had run into someone he knew. He seemed to relax but only barely, "I'm looking for someone. Minako Aino, I dunno if you ever met her but she disappeared the other day and I need to find her."

Unfortunately, Minako wasn't someone Maka knew. She could attempt to sense the girl, but she wasn't sure how well it would work given the islands push to cap powers and the fact that she'd never even met the girl before. Renji was a kindred spirit, though, and someone in need of a helping hand. She would do what she could.

"I can try to help," she said, a bit unsure. "If you can describe her to me? I can try to sense her." And ever the pessimist... "I'm not sure it'll work, though. I can't guarantee anything."

She wished she could guarantee it, and wished Soul had been with her for this. With both of them working together in a Soul Resonance it might be easier to amplify the search, but there was still no guarantee.

Renji sighed in frustration, Minako was about as social as he was sometimes so he should have figured she might not have known her. "Yeah, she has dark brown eyes and brown hair. Her hair reaches just past her shoulders," he used his hand to indicate about where. He wished he'd brought a picture now but he hadn't thought about it.

"I'm not sure how well sensing her will go, she doesn't exactly have much spiritual energy," Renji admitted, then again maybe Maka was better at sensing than he was.

She wasn't supposed to be out of her room. But Haruka had gone jogging and Michiru couldn't just leave the search for Minako to the others. Her ankle still had a few days left to heal completely... But it was good enough to walk (maybe even chance to run) on.

So Sailor Neptune wandered the streets, trying to find the missing senshi herself. It was alarming that the ill woman had even left her medicine behind. The sea was restless, this was not just Minako returning home like some did... This was an abduction of some sort, and Sailor Neptune refused to rest easy until the girl was back home with her loved ones.

Noticing the familiar red head in the distance, she chanced a quick sprint to him, tripping only slightly over her injured ankle. "Renji-kun," she called out as she neared him. "Any sign of her?"

Renji looked over his shoulder when he heard his name being called and blinked, it was the teal haired senshi...one of Minako's companions (sort of). He frowned, he'd been around a few places and so far there hadn't been any luck. Renji looked dejected by this point, why couldn't he find her! "No," he said in a rough voice, "no one's seen her or anything."

Sailor Neptune caught up to him before she stopped and lifted her foot off the ground slightly to relieve the pressure. Frowning back at him, she managed a very strained, supportive smile (as small as it was). "We'll find her," she whispered reassuringly.

They had to. With Usagi, Haruka, Makoto, Renji and Yachiru helping look for the girl (not to mention various others who'd seen the entries about the missing senshi)... well, there was no reason for them not to find her. Neptune raked her gloved fingers through her hair and closed her eyes. "She's not the only one to have gone missing... If we ask around about the others... if they have any leads... Perhaps we might get a lead of our own..."

If Renji noticed any sign that Michiru was still injured he didn't make it known. He nodded, "Yeah." He wouldn't stop looking until they found her or even a clue to her whereabouts.

He was a little worried though, what if she died or was dead. He still wasn't sure how spirit beings worked in this world and if he lost her because of death when he was a shinigami of all things. Well, he wouldn't be happy.

"Yeah, I heard, s'why I figure it's not Ichimaru...for once," Renji muttered the last part a little irritatedly. Ichimaru wouldn't just randomly kidnap others...it needed to have a purpose of some kind or other...or so Renji figured. "Let's go then, where do you wanna check next?"

Renji had been searching for hours at this point and man did it feel like it. Renji was starting to feel extremely useless, even with the help of others he hadn't gotten any word on Minako or if anyone had even seen her. Renji was never good at dealing with his emotions and it was starting to show because he looked even more pissed off and frustrated than when he had started off.

"What!" he snapped without thinking about who that voice belonged to, only to turn around and see Rangiku standing there with a pile of shopping bags. "Rangiku?"

"Sorry," he muttered in apology, he hadn't meant to be snappy. Renji sighed, "Not very well. I can't sense her at all and no one has seen any sign of her." Minako didn't have much spiritual energy to begin with so it wasn't particularly strong to sense out in a place like this...but it had been growing a little with as much as she hung around Renji and Yachiru. Not to mention he was becoming familiar with her energy signature.

Sado had gone looking for Renji when he heard that the shinigami's friend had disappeared. While he had not known the other man for long, in that short time Renji had risked his life twice to help save Orihime, and had devoted long hours to helping Sado become stronger. However short their time together, Sado considered Renji a true friend.

Even before he saw Renji Sado could feel him, and knew he'd made the right choice. Turning the corner he moved towards the shinigami in long strides. "Abarai!"

Renji looked up when he heard his name, apparently he wasn't the only one out searching...first he'd run into a lot of people he knew. It was good to see Sado though. Renji hoped he knew because Renji couldn't really bring himself to smile or show his gratitude, "Sado. You wanna help me look?" It was really more of a statement, you train with someone and you learn a lot about their character.

Sado nodded with a slight smile. "Of course." Renji was right, he didn't even have to ask.

"Where have you been so far?"

"A few warehouses by the water on the west side and a few buildings in a pretty ride radius around the Mansfield," Renji replied, scratching at the back of his neck. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out the map he'd been using, he'd made a few marks on it and he'd covered quite a lot of territory considering Minako hadn't been missing that long. "I'm running out of ideas of where to look...a lot of these buildings are torn down by now."
