He was only taking a walk, so to say, figuring out where he was. Everywhere was unknown, the buildings, the people, even the name. It seemed that he was taken to a place with technology advancement of some sort. He only remembered castles and cottages hanging off the corners of forests and edges of the town. People dressed in attires of dresses and robes that resembled their social classes.

Not here, though. People were dressed rather different. Women did not weak dresses all the time, men, their attires were unknown to him. He stood out like a sore thumb in the robes of black and and leather. Though, from the corner of his eye, it seemed someone was struggling, covered in blood? The smell of it was strong enough not to be mistaken.

The person looked rather beaten up. Ishtar wasn't here with him at this point, so he found no reason to help strangers, but something was just tugging him. She rubbed off on him, in all the wrong ways. Now, he hardly bear leaving someone to die. He slowly glided towards the injured figure.

There were many habits Itachi had that would turn against him, and enhancing his senses with chakra was one of them. Normally, he would be aware of a human presence within a hundred meters in a densely wooded area; this time, his human-level hearing alerted him much later than that.

Not that it made a difference anyway. Itachi could not fight, could not run, possibly could not even speak the dialect. The only thing he could do was assume his man was hostile, and even then it didn't matter. Itachi was close enough to death for a swift slice across his throat to not matter anymore ( ... )

The scent of blood lingered in every direction, though, it came form source, the man that was not too far from him. He walked quickly, though his steps didn't seem as quick as they were before. Perhaps, that limited thing is in effect when it came to his own strength and power as well? He didn't speak, words were unnecessary. He wasn't going to say he came in peace. It would have been something that would be even more suspicious ( ... )

Itachi felt another itch at the back of his throat warning that another coughing fit was coming on, but he held it back with a swallow and a clearing of his throat.

"Can you heal?" he asked at last, pronouncing each word as plainly as possible. To his surprise, the language that came out was not Japanese. He could understand it, but not a clue as to how. He kept the realization from showing in his expression.
