Staying active and keeping busy definitely were ways to keep sane, especially in a place like this; and surely more than person thought that. Sealand, for one, certainly did.

So he was just outside of Bryant Park Hotel, doing just that - there wasn't a lot he could do, honestly, but, being a kid, he was managing to find little things to keep himself busy and entertained. So he was mostly wandering around the general area, outside (he'd managed to bundle himself up a least a little bit, against the cold), trying to find little things.

He did notice someone, though, and glanced up at him - maybe he could keep him busy for a little bit!

Daniel stopped at the intersection, glancing first at the map, then up at the huge hotel across the street. Yup, that looked like the place. He momentarily wished that he didn't have to be wearing so many weapons when he was trying to make good first impressions on the other residents, but hey, they knew what this place was like; hopefully they would think nothing of it. He was crossing the street, aiming for the hotel's main entrance, when he spotted a young blonde boy in a sailor outfit. He looked vaguely familiar...Daniel changed direction slightly and headed towards the boy, meeting him a little ways away from the front door.

"Hey, there!" he called when he got close, smiling and waving. "Is this the Bryant Park Hotel? I'm Daniel Jackson."

There wasn't much to do in Manhattan. When they weren't out on some "missions", or being called by various "leaders" for meetings, it was rather boring. It's not like he could just go crab hunting either. Supplies in his case were pretty low, he couldn't use his abilities too much and ammo... well, he had a lot now, but he wasn't so keen on wasting it.

So he did what anyone would do in this situation: being lazy and taking a long smoke outside the hotel.

Staring ahead, half lost in his thoughts, he noticed the two other men around. He didn't know who the first one was, but the other one was the same guy he met a while ago looking for guns... Daniel or something like that. What was he doing here?

Sealand wasn't particularly surprised at being addressed, honestly - he'd probably have done it himself soon enough, if the man approaching hadn't said anything to him. There was a man near by, too, looking in their direction, but for the time being he paid little mind to that, attention focused on the one addressing him. That name sounded familiar, somehow, but he wasn't entirely sure he could place it...but that wasn't the point, for now.

"Hello!" he replied, brightly enough. "Yeah, this is Bryant Park Hotel." he confirmed, nodding somewhat, and withholding introductions for the moment, anyway.
