While Freudia did not consider herself something of use, hopefully she would still be able to assist this strange gentleman who had been wandering very near to her own home. (But how long it would remain her home, given Axel's... hospitality, was yet to be seen.) At the very least, she might be able to help this man get acclimated to the city.

The woman in the white dress approached him slowly. Carefully, in case he were to lash out somehow. She assumed he was a new arrival and therefore confused (as she had also been so long ago), given the way he seemed to be acting. "Do you need help?" she asked as she got closer.

Catching the movement out of the corner of his eye, Saix stopped in the middle of the street and turned towards the woman practically inching her way over. He squinted a little against the light of the afternoon, feeling a headache already sinking in behind his eyes as he focused on the overwhelming whiteness of the stranger. The caution she was approaching with was noted, however, although whether it was a good sign or not remained to be seen.

"Who are you?" he replied, bypassing the original question entirely and instead getting straight to the point. "What is this place?" Were normal people still capable of living on dead worlds? Was she a Nobody that they had somehow missed?

Yes, Freudia could have picked less... blinding attire, but she rather liked the way she presented herself, thank you very much. The man's response confirmed her suspicions, and she herself noted that he denied acknowledging she had even said anything at all.

"I am Freudia Neuwahl," she began, and after a brief thought, added, "RosenkreuzStilette the Second under Count Michael Sepperin and de facto general of the RosenkreuzStilette." That was a mouthful, she realized; maybe she would cut it down. But regardless. "You are in Manhattan, a once-prominent city in the state of New York in the country of America."

Light colored eyes and a preference for the dark didn't exactly make it comfortable to be out in the daylight to begin with, but some unfortunate circumstances couldn't be helped. He frowned pointedly at the list of surnames and titles that came out of the woman, obviously more irritated with the list than anything else she might've been aiming for.

The locations meant just as little; Saix had never heard of any world matching any of those descriptions, not even in notes or in passing from anyone else. But it didn't sound like a place dead people went to either. Which just left him more confused than before. So much for answers.

Fine, names didn't really matter much anyway since he didn't plan to be staying very long. "How do I get out of here?" His voice was more clipped than before, the no-nonsense tone he usually used when throwing orders at the other Nobodies. He had no interest in being polite at the moment; all he wanted to do was get back 'home'.
